Sublinked (adj.)
A term for therians who feel a connection to similar animals as their theriotype.
e.g., You are a barn owl therian. Because of this, you feel a connection towards other owl species, though you are not kin or 'hearted with those owl species. You may have considered the possibility that you're an owl cladotherian, but you never felt that it truly fitted your experience.
"I'm a barn owl therian, but elf owls and great grey owls are my sublinks."
"I'm not an elf owl therian, but I am an elf owl sublinker. I've also sublinked great greys."
"I'm not sublinked with all owl species, but my friend, a tiger therian, has sublinked with all big cats. My other friend is a snake therian and they're a sublinker with all reptiles."
Please note that while I've used 'animals' and 'theriotype' here, this term can apply to otherkin(d), fictionkin(d), copinglinkers, etc.
